# I'm A Celeb crisis deepens with new twist in Janice Dickinson's horror fall row **By:** 161385360554578 **Published:** 2026-04-29T08:02:46+01:00 **Source:** [The Sun](https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/38950022/janice-dickinson-sues-itv-horror-fall) --- I’m A Celeb crisis deepens with new twist in row over Janice Dickinson’s horror fall – days after All Stars chaos EVERY day brings a fresh load of chaos from the I’m A Celebrity South Africa circus – but there’s one campmate who is entirely unsurprised by the mayhem… Janice Dickinson.  With Jimmy Bullard now preparing legal action over series two of All Stars, veteran supermodel Janice is already booked in for her day in court and is suing ITV Studios in London’s High Court, claiming a nighttime fall in camp has left her with permanent facial deformities and nerve damage. Now we have uncovered a fresh twist in the saga – which made waves across this series too. The regulators’ portal states a probe is “in progress”. Dr. Stephan Thaele and Dr. Reisa Jansen van Rensburg operate as Advanced Global Medical Solutions and Dr. Reisa was most recently noted in the credits as Cast Health & Wellbeing Consultant during 2025’s Australian series. Advanced Global Medical Solutions provided care for series one and two of the South Africa series, with the latter filming last September in Kruger National Park.  A spotlight was thrown on the medical providers when Janice Dickinson’s claim against ITV was logged, covering the impact of injuries sustained when she tripped over a bench while visiting the toilet during the night. ITV’s defence, logged at court, outlines how the docs administered a drug called Zolpidem, which Janice was once addicted to – an addiction that required rehab to overcome. The case details say Janice was unaware that the drug is known as Ambien in the United States.  A spokesperson said: “While we are aware a third-party submission was made to the relevant professional body last month, neither practitioner has received any formal notification of a complaint or investigation from the Health Professions Council of South Africa. “Both remain fully licensed and registered medical practitioners.” Other question marks were raised over Janice’s care too. The supermodel’s case against ITV Studio is a ticking timebomb in the background of Jimmy’s claims that ITV failed to show key scenes of his bust-up with Adam Thomas in order to protect the soap star’s image.  But The Sun has already shared fakery claims from Janice’s series, which aired in April and May 2023. It is alleged that show bosses faked the Dior model’s goodbye letter to camp after her fall.  A source close to Janice said: “Janice has watched the fallout from series two with a wry smile. She had a great time on I’m A Celebrity but remains astonished at the whole circus around edits and aftermath.  “It’s no surprise to her that Jimmy and co aren’t happy with the edit, nor the way ITV Studios have acted since, as that’s entirely her experience too.” In scenes broadcast to millions at the time, campmate Helen Flanagan read out a letter, originally claimed to be from Janice, which gave the impression all was well. But those close to her say it would have been impossible for her to have contributed to it. A pal told The Sun: “At the time that letter supposedly existed, Janice was in hospital, scared, in pain and receiving urgent treatment. How could she have written that?” Janice was hospitalised after the fall Credit: Janice Dickinson Janice is suing ITV over the facial injuries and nerve damage Credit: Janice Dickinson The letter read: “Dear beloved campmates, never in my life have I had such an extraordinary experience with all of you animals. “You are the new BFFs, loves of my life. I’ll miss you until I get to see you again. Kisses to all of you.” The source said when Janice heard of the letter, she told pals: “I never said any of those f***ing words’.” She previously told The Sun she was “screaming in the dark for ten minutes before the lights came on and it was the other campers who helped me”. An I’m A Celebrity… spokesperson said of the fake letter claim: “There is no truth to this statement.” David Haye also verbally attacked Adam Thomas after a fallout on the show Credit: ITV The cast of IAC South Africa series two Credit: Shutterstock Editorial ‘Bleeding in the dark’ Bosses have in fact blamed Janice for her tumble in the jungle, telling her she should have gone for a wee before bedtime.  In a bitter legal fightback, show executives insist she was “the author of her own misfortune”. In court documents obtained by The Sun, they say: “The participants were advised to use lavatories and complete activities before retiring to their beds. “An acceptable level of nighttime lighting had been collectively agreed on the first night and there were no objections made.” They add “she was attempting unnecessarily to pass between or over one of the fixed campfire benches when she could have walked round them”. Celebs on the show in South Africa were given a safety briefing and a camp map and shown the unobstructed route to the toilets, ITV says.  They argue: “The claimant was the author of her own misfortune or alternatively contributorily negligent.” ” Bosses list nine allegations of negligence, including “failing to use the lavatory before retiring to bed.” Janice told pals that she has been left with nerve damage that affects her speech, eating and drinking and has submitted a medical report that says she has damage that no surgical or non-surgical intervention can fix. In September last year, Janice told The Sun: “It was the most frightening night of my life. Those motherf*****s left me there bleeding in the dark for ten minutes. The guy whose job it was to watch us was negligent. ITV had a duty of care and they let me down.” Janice claims she was left with permanent injuries Credit: Getty The new series has been beset by arguments, including between Adam Thomas and Jimmy Bullard Credit: Shutterstock Editorial Janice said that she fell after telling producers through her microphone that she needed to reach the loo in the dark. She said: “I walked three steps and I tripped over a bench, flying flat on my face. My nose and lip were bloody, my chin gashed open, my head came up like a golf ball. “No one from the programme came to help. I was screaming in the dark for ten minutes before the lights came on – and it was the other campers who helped me.” ITV Studios hit back: “We don’t recognise this version of events. We looked after Janice at the time, paid her medical expenses, flew her home to LA, and the I’m A Celebrity team were in regular contact until after the programme aired seven months later.” The Sun have contacted ITV for comment about the investigation of the medics on the show.
