# Tipping Point star lifts lid on Ben Shephard's off-camera behaviour

Ben Shephard has presented the ITV hit show since 2012 (Image: ITV) A woman who featured on Tipping Point has lifted the lid on what Ben Shephard was truly like when the cameras weren't rolling. The much-loved television presenter has fronted the ITV hit game show since it first graced our screens in 2012. The programme sees contestants take on a legendary machine in pursuit of sizeable cash prizes.
Players must answer questions to earn the opportunity to drop a coin into the contraption, with each counter representing £50 in prize money. The jackpot counter is valued at an impressive £10,000, with the prospect of even greater rewards should it land alongside a double counter. Ellie Millar is amongst the many hopefuls who have tried their luck at winning big. The social media star, who boasts 2.9 million TikTok followers, appeared on the programme back in 2022 and managed to leave with some winnings.

 Ellie Millar previously appeared on Tipping Point (Image: TikTok) Ellie shared details of her stint on ITV's Tipping Point in October 2022, having filmed her appearance in May of that year.
Updating her TikTok followers, she revealed what Ben was genuinely like behind the scenes, admitting that he was "so lovely".
Recounting the moments before filming got underway, she explained: "(When ) it was time to go to the stage and to meet Ben Shepherd. He was just talking to the producer and was like, 'Hi guys, are you okay?'"
 "He was so, so lovely and I was a bit starstruck. The whole day was such a blur, even thinking back on it now there's only specific things I remember."
 At the time, Ellie triumphed over both of her fellow competitors and was competing alone for as much as £10k in the concluding round. Ellie confessed she performed "terrible" in the final round, succeeding in building her prize fund to merely £2,100.

Ellie said: "After the show Ben was like 'would you like to get a photo?'So yeah, I was chatting to Ben saying this money can get me and my boyfriend to Bali and I left.
"The producers made me sign this contract to say when I would get the money, and that was it.
"The only rules I was told is that I couldn't disclose to anyone what the outcome of the show was. I did tell my mum though, I'm not going to lie."
